petrushka

petrushka

Petrushka is the follow-up to Inscape’s American Aggregate and their GRAMMY®-nominated debut album Sprung Rhythm on the Sono Luminus label. It features a powerful transcription of the monumental ballet of the same name written by Igor Stravinsky for Michel Fokine’s choreography in 1911. Originally written for full orchestra, David Plylar has taken this iconic piece and transcribed it especially for the Inscape Chamber Orchestra.
